1. About Us This website is operated by Mad Hiker. By accessing or using our website and purchasing our products, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland and, where applicable, European Union consumer protection legislation.
2. Products & Pricing We reserve the right to modify product listings, descriptions, and prices at any time without notice. In the event of a pricing error, we will contact you before processing your order. All prices are displayed in Euro (€) and include VAT where applicable.
3. Orders & Contract By placing an order, you make an offer to purchase. A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud or stock unavailability.
4. EU Consumer Rights If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving any reason (the "cooling-off period"). To exercise this right, contact us at info@madhiker.eu within the 14-day period. Refunds will be issued within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, using your original payment method. Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
5. Faulty or Incorrect Items If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, contact us at info@madhiker.eu as soon as possible with your order number and photos where possible. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you. Your statutory rights under the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act 1980 and EU consumer law are not affected.
6. Liability To the fullest extent permitted by Irish and EU law, Mad Hiker is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
7. Intellectual Property All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and product descriptions — is the property of Mad Hiker and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without our prior written permission.
8. Dispute Resolution We aim to resolve any complaints directly. If we cannot reach a resolution, EU consumers may use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. Irish consumers may also contact the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC).
